Family Court Services provides mediation for parents involved in child custody and visitation disputes. Mediation is a confidential process where a neutral mediator helps parents develop a parenting plan and resolve disagreements outside of court. If parents reach an agreement, it is submitted to the court for approval. If not, the mediator may provide a recommendation to the court regarding custody and visitation.
