We represented a client who was charged with a DUI in Contra Costa County. The blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was 0.11%. We were able to reduce the charges from VC 23152(a) [driving under the influence of alcohol (any amount)] and VC 23152(b) [driving under the influence of alcohol with BAC 0.08% or higher] to VC 23103.5 [alcohol-related reckless driving].
