Remote hearings (attending by video)
How to join, as the court explains it:
- Zoom is the court's only remote platform. Family law hearings are held both on Zoom and in person.
- Find your department number on your hearing notice, open that department on the court page, and click its Zoom link. You will wait in a waiting room until the judge admits you.
- Sign in with your full first and last name, or you may not be let in.
- If the link does not work, you can call in using the meeting ID and passcode the court lists for your department. Press *6 to mute and unmute.
- The court will never ask you to pay to join a Zoom hearing. Do not send money to anyone who asks.
Tips: test your camera, microphone and internet a day ahead, keep your hearing notice and case number handy, and join early.
